:: Pack 1 : Hit Kit DrumsUsing The Steve Levine Apple loops
Apple Loops are compatible with Apple Macintosh Computers running Host Apps like- Garageband - Logic Pro - Logic Express - Soundtrack & Soundtrack Pro.
“Apple Loops” are prerecorded music files containing special “tags” that allow you to easily add drum beats, rhythm parts, and other repeating patterns to a song.
When you add an Apple Loop to a song, either in Logic Pro, Logic Express or GarageBand the host creates a region for the loop in the timeline. The host sequencer then automatically matches the tempo and key of the region to the song's tempo and key. This lets you use several loops together, even if the loops were recorded at different speeds and in different keys.
There are two types of Apple Loops: Real Instrument loops and Software Instrument loops.
The loops in the folder SteveLevine’sAppleLoops Pack1 HitKit Drums are all Real Instrument loops – when copied to the loop browser they will appear in the loop browser with a Blue “waveform” Icon.
After downloading the files from www.stevelevine.co.uk Copy the loop folder to a convenient location on your hard drive.
Launch Garageband or Logic Pro - Open the Loop Browser.
Next simply drag & drop (copy) the folder containing the loops to the open Apple Loop browser in your host sequencer e.g. Logic Pro, the host sequencer will then give you the option to copy the files to the appropriate library location, or you can of leave the files where they are and copy just the reference to the files.
The names will then appear in the Apple Loop browser.
